found a deer that had been shot in the neck and abandoned about 30 yards off a logging road south of Grande Prairie today.
GPsed it and called poacher hotline
Conservation Officers are investigating,
Hope they can catch the bastard........

Had the same thing happen to me i was working on an acarage and there was a big buck i saw a few times in the area. I went to work one saturday morning and saw in the ditch a sawn up body no head or skin looked like a buck size. I called fish and wildlife to come and look at it and take it away never saw the buck again me and the owner of the house are sure it was the big buck. And it was not far from the city cant belive these people do this.

Could be but the legs had been sawn off and left in ditch and the middle of the back was sawn in half and no feet or head or skin.

All jokes aside, wtf, when ppl in my fam hit a der or moose, they load it up, after gutting. Its either the elders get the meat or it gets donated to the food bank. Why waste good meat.
