Cylinder interchange

Hi guys i just bought a 05 summit 800ho.The topend was siezed and i have to get one new cylinder.Just wondering if all 800ho cylinders are the same.

I believe 2003-2006 are the same

They will all interchange however the '06 cylinders have better port timing and will make slightly more power.
If memory serves it's the casting on the left that's '06

I found one from a 01 800ho but it has a different casting #.Would it still work?

Why not just get an exchange from Mongoose or NikkaTech?

No but I think several vendors will do an exchange. I normally use Dan at Extreme Machines in Sylvan. He can set you up with pistons/gaskets also 403-748-2219
