I have a mesh Diamond S hood on my Nytro project. Any ideas or pics for mounting headlights on this. I like the look now but I know I will need a light down the road. I am considering a helmet light too, looking for feedback on that too, Lead Dog or Cyclops? Thanx for any help guys. Shad

Not to sure, but seen the LED light bars at the sled show and they're pretty bright. Plus I'm pretty sure MR.Fusion will end up following one of his sledding buddies back to the trucks when its dark... :)

The ones at the show were quite a bit more money...may or maynot mean less power.

two helmet lights that velcro to the hood! you can hide them in the day and they just velcro on at night.......just my 2 cents! I run 2 fog lights that are 1 inch and they work great......i also have a helmet light....but dont really need it. I also have a spare helmet for sale!

Been using the cyclops light since 01/02 season, the 35w bulb works fine for the amount of night riding that is done. It will get you back to the truck from the mountian. They also sell a 55w, I didnt see the need for it. Thats my vote, sure you can get a fog light from Can Tire. But what fun is that, haha.

I must agree, I follow you...you know the areas. But someone has to keep an eye on Tom so he doesn't get lost  Which way are you leaning to...helmet light or are we going to be making a nice bracket?

I am not sure. If I mount the light on the sled I want it to blend in. I have those Piaa lights in stock that I used on my last turbo, but my son said it looked like Wally the robot. I might check into the helmet light too. Tail light is mounted and working. Looks good dude. Shad

I would just fab up a bracket and mount 1 or 2 Piaas 35 or 55w on it. The Ridgid LED's are awesome lights as well but I think they are heavier. ridgid has the brightest led lights on the market the last time I checked. I don't have a taillight but I wouldn't want to be without a headlight personally. Got that sled out for a rip yet Shad?

Hi Steve, no should be happening this week. Just ironing out the details now. I would prefer a light hard mounted too, just to figure out where to mount it. Not alot of real estate now with that Apex engine in there. Take care. Shad

If it were my sled, and I wish it was lol, I would buy a set of small pias and mount them right on your bar riser.
