Was there last week. Rode Mon to Fri.
A buddy has a cabin on the lake.
Snow was a bit tracked up on Mon but a bit of snow most nights and there was some magical healing.
No crowds during the week, I hear weekends are at times quite busy (relatively speaking).
Great local club, groomer, 3 alpine cabins, unlimited riding, great boondocking.

Thanks for the info. Do you go often to this area? What would you compare it to for riding areas? Thanks

We try to go at least twice a year. Long drive though, 10.5 hours so you need to ride for 4 or 5 days to make it worthwhile. I don't know where the nearest hotel would be; Chase if there is one there or else Kamloops.
I don't know what I would to compare it to, its kinda my favorite place to ride. Apparently Queest etc in the Salmon Arm area are similar. But it's only 9 kms from stage to the first cabin, then unlimited boondocking. There is some good climbing as well a some technical tree riding.
Hope this helps.

hi glenn, gotta go to north side of shuswap via squilax bridge and drive approx 30 kms to celista, there you turn left onto beguelin rd and straight to a crossroad, turn rite and then left onto garland rd, keep goin to you get to parkin lot......worth the trip even now as we are experiencing cooler than normal temps....hopes this helps....Bri

To get to the staging area, leave the Trans Canada at Squilax, just east of Chase.
Follow the Squilax/Anglemont road to Bequelin road east of Celista and turn left. (If you turn right you get wet:D).
Go north to the T and turn right on Line 17 then turn left on Garland road.
Follow this north for 1.5 miles, veer right and the stage is about 1/3 mile further on.
GPS N 50 59' 09.70" W 119 19' 02.75"
You can see it on google earth.
There are also a few signs to help you on your way.
Maybe we'll see you up there next winter.
