Recent high water has damaged a number of creek crossings in the Whitecourt trail system. Picture is a log jam blocking the trail crossing Groat Creek.

Still discussing our options. There is a lot of pressure on the bridge and it may be removed.
Our trail crosses right beside in the heavy log jam. Picture does not really show the amount
of wood very well!!

let us (other clubs) know if you need assistance, I've already offered my help for the rebuilding of that burnt out cabin as well, keep us informed!

You can drive right up to it. Looks like a lot of pressure on some of the logs.
I would be careful cutting them!

When the water goes down in the fall, the logs will drop. Cut off the tops or the ones standing up and just drive that SnowCat across pushing snow as you go. Should work with enough snow. Maybe yes, maybe no!

If you can get a track hoe in there it would make short work of that if it's a main bridge whom ever owns the road will probably clean it up as it posts a threat to the bridge

Those logs are in the mud, there is only a couple of feet of water there, the creek has sort of moved a bit. Still goes under the bridge though.
