coolent draining on 2002 zx 800

So, I want to take off the head on my sled to inspect the domes, pistions, and cylandar walls. How do I drain the coolent? I dont have to take the motor out, do i?

snows coming and your sled will be in peices!

whats your compression at?


anyways theres no good way to drain the coolant. pop off the bottom rad hose to drain the cylinders/head.

sounds like a mess!! im realy not sure how to check it..

some guys say wide open throttel some say closed. closed its at 133 on clutch side the other is 135. is the normal?

princess auto, fluid extractor, stick the hose iner and pump the handle up and down...


I'm with Maxwell, keep it together, numbers are good!!

Honestly i was like you when i was younger, but instead of sleds.. it was Mountain bikes.. I'm with everyone else, stop messing with that thing, make sure its ready to ride.. and just ride it!
