So I remember some talk on here but can't find any threads. Where are some of these hidden gem little restaurants within a couple hours of Edmonton. I remember years ago going for tour on my bike and I think it was East of Drayton valley I went by a place that had alot of bikes parked outside.

Just looking to get away for an afternoon on my Friday off as this has been a long stretch. Also see some country.

Any and all suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks

Last trip through Red Deer we stopped at an indoor farmers market just off gasoline Alley.
There were a few food outlets, Raman noodles, Monster tacos, brewery, steak place and others.

Gainford is open again, and food gets good reviews, or if you want to go up through Alberta Beach, Mama's in the Kitchen is amazing.

Darwell Bar for a quick wings/beer

I would guess the place you're talking about east of Drayton is the sunny Brooke hotel. it's between Warburg and Thorsby and it always packed with bikers in the summer. they do car shows there sometimes, have a small rodeo sometimes. I haven't been myself but have been meaning to stop there for ever to try it out. I've head its really good.

I'll follow up Tyler on the momma's kitchen through. that place is awesome. if you want Chinese jade garden in Onoway is probably the best Chinese I've ever had.

Possibly. I remember coming around a curve and seeing about 50 bikes out in front. All by itself i think

I have heard that place where the guy ignored Covid regulations is super good. I can’t remember the name but the owner was a big time Covid activist during the shutdown. Someone on here will know who I’m talking about . I think he was NE of Lacombe?
