compression gauge

where does one get a compression gauge adapter. As I already have a compression gauge but not for such a small plug hole. I have checked some automotive stores with no luck, any ideas. I don't want to have to buy a new gauge, just an adapter.

Where can I get a cheap compression guage? I don't expect it will get used very much, although it needs to be better than a powerfist (princess auto)

Canadian Tire has one for about $30 IIRC.

Depending on the brand compression tester you have you may be able to get an adapter for it that will work with your existing compression tester. You can also buy a "universal" type tester that has a cone shaped rubber tip that will fit any spark plug hole, you only need to hold it firmly on the spark plug hole while cranking the engine.

Where are you in calgary? You are welcome to borrow my gauge and adapter, not sure which plug size you are looking for but I think my gauge is a 14mm and I have the 18 mm adapter.
