What's in that beast for a motor?
great car, rides good, mileage is good, parts and repairs are also available. reason why police forces use the chev impala, and ford crown vic! last forever, good ride, driver has better than average surviving car crashes. plus enough room to haul the family around if required!I've been happy running older Impala's for the last 7 years. I put around 150k on the first one with minimal maintenance. I sold it with 320k as I found a good deal on another 2006 from an elderly guy who was the original owner, with only 100k on it. I regularly see these cars for sale with the 3.5L engine with 300-400k on them, original motor and trans. Parts are easy to find and cheap. There's hundreds of video's on Youtube how to literally fix anything on them. It gets between 6-7L/100km on the highway. Runs around SK just fine with winter tires. Lots of room in the back for the kids, and a huge trunk to fit some hockey bags.
here's the 06 I sold with 320k on it

I don't think she would be saving any fuel driving that, she has a heavy foot.Tyler that Cadillac CTS that Lyle is selling would be a comfy commuter car for Sarah
