Not to disrupt your buy or hijack your tread, but have you considered using motocomm headsets with regular GMRS or FRS radios? The problem I have found with collet is that alot of people have FRS or GMRS and then you can't talk to them. I know so many people that have bought collets and now don't use them. The motocomm product is in-expensive and works with most FRS and GMRS radios, something else to consider. You can buy the helmet gear for a radio you already own, about $85.00.

I think you can buy direct from their US office on line.

Durham radio in Ontario is a Canadian disty. I have never found another Canadian disty but I haven't looked in over a year.

Crawford cycle and Marine in the US is also a great source , I have dealt with them before.

Also, I have the RiderLink system for my touring bike, could also use it on a quad. Full duplex rider - to passenger communication (active at all times), FM radio, FRS/GMRS hookup, and cell phone hookup, and CD/MP3/GPS Input, all at once (system automatically mutes music when a cell call or GMRS comm comes in etc). Both Rider and passenger have PTT and can use the radio. System is complete with gear for two helmets for under $200.

These rider-to-rider and rider-to-passenger systems are not very common, there's collet, motocomm and one other over in europe that I can't remember. I like the motocomm because of the support for standard systems and the flexibility.

Just another option that I think very few are aware of. Happy to answer any questions if anyone has any.
