Hey everyone, im here again trying to get everyones opinion on what to do for clutching and gearing on my 2013 summit x.
i would like to get working on the sled soon because.... let face it i just need an excuse to spend time with my sled.
right now my sled is stock besides an hps can. here are my questions:

what should i run for a clutch kit with stock gearing?
what should i run for a clutch kit if i change my gearing as well as what gears should i run?
same questions as above but what should i do if i run c3 beltdrive or should i even do belt drive?

Most of my riding is in the revelstoke and golden area. i get down to crowsnest as well and would like to get to valemount this year.

any opinion would be appreciated.

where do you feel the sled is lacking due to clutching? Bottom, mid or top range? 146, 154 or 163? do you prefer tree riding, hill climbing?

Daryl at Racers Edge has these figured out. 403-254-8686 He is in and out this time of year so be patient if you get a machine.

Mad Motorsports in Leduc has a good clutch and gearing setup figured out. I know of a Freeride with his setup and it works well. (For a Doo anyway) right dmills.

Haha. Yeah. Deans setup see's improvement in most areas. It's very tractable in a tight tree/deep snow application. Back shifts much better than stock and you see a few km/hr track speed increase. For my riding style I wish it hit a little harder right off the bottom for setup snow days. overall very impressed.
