Is it possible to see what the clutch weights are without disassembling the clutch...I know the numbers are on the side of the weights..

Sorry I should have made the question more clear...I have a '02 RMK 500...The sled from the factory is setup for 6000-9000 feet shift weight bushed 10....I bought the sled used and am wondering if the clutch weights were ever changed to the 10-56 bushed ones...I am riding from sea level to 2000 feet.........

Yes you can. Just take the belt off and the use a wide pry bar. Put the pry bar in betwwen the spider just inside the outside clutch cover and outside shive and push against the ouside sheave towards the inside sheave. This will force the clutch sheaves together then you will be able to see the side of the weights.
