clutch torquing specs

the main bolt in the crank should be about 75flbs torque it to 65 start it then re torque it to 75 this is what i do hope this helps

I just torque mine on with the Snap On impact. Isn't that how you are supposed to do it?:rolleyes:;)

What's important is the second torquing. Run the sled on the track stand and rev it up and then slam the brakes on. Do this 3 or 4 times and then torque it again.

yes. torque until bolt breaks and crank snaps. good to go

and then after you drill the bolt out and get a new one you have to torque it to a bit less than the one that broke........right:confused::confused:

Yes, torque replacement bolt a 1/4 turn less than where the first one broke and you're good to go. :D

Same way that Fountain Tire torques your lug nuts......:rolleyes:
