Is there a special way to remove those little set screws on the weights or a tip? iam just twisting of the Allan keys I even broke one off in the stud

also does anyone know if the clutch from a 09 m1000 fits on a 12 m1100 ?
I measured the hole for the crank it's the same size as the 1100. my extra m8000 clutch is different
they only visual different is there are 3 little ribs on the m1000 clutch that would hold the ring gear for e start the 1100 stater is on the back of the motor and doesn't have these. Any help would be appreciated as I don't want to buy a clutch for the last couple rides

Lots of heat. They're in there with red loctite.

⬆Agree. They need heat. Both 1000 and 1100 have 35mm bores but one is shallow. Don't think you can swap.

I agree also. When I put them back in, I never add any more Loctite. There is also some left on them. Never had them come loose.

I used to put RED thread lock on them when putting new weights in. Set screws would come loose and the weight would start to move side to side. NOT good for the rollers! So now I use green locktite similar to factory, the key is to put the goop into the hole on the weight. Some will squish out of the side of the weight but the weight will NOT move ever. I lost a clutch due to the red loctite letting the weight move. Use a torch to remove them.
