Any trials riders out there, you may be interested in this fuel steve and I are testing. To me I smell a lot more exhaust while riding trials, mostly since the bikes just cruise a long and the pipe does not get hot enough to burn them off, then on a hill they pump blue smoke, another reason is improper jetting, Kim is often behind and hates the smell. I am sure others see this while dirt biking with 2-strokes that are not jetted right. Steve Klassen is a master jetter and I can ride behind his 200 xcw all day.

Steve found this fuel and we used it the other day in crumpit. It makes more sence with trials bikes since you only use about 2 liters of fuel per ride...but it works and i will be using this during the BC Bike Race on a trials bike while filming...

It cost 30 bucks for 5 liters, it smells like our camp fuel we buy (white gas). I use instead of fuel stabilizer and i always use it for my chainsaw and weedwacker. Homehardware has something similar it is called trufuel.. i think.

Correct, it is expensive but price goes down with more liters bought...we are looking at a 200litre drum, to split, it would be expensive for a dirt bike rider but for trials where the cleaner air to breath makes a difference is awesome...plus u use way less fuel in a trials bike over our dirt bikes...won't use it in the dirt squirts...and yeah it smells like camp fuel, you can also get it in 4 stroke version...and i guess you could mix your own oil..

I beginning to think all it is is white gas, naptha or coleman fuel or what ever name you want to call it. Except white gas is way cheaper.

Alkylates are produced from alkylation, cracking and polymerization of crude. Effectively with isobutane. The chemistry is not important, but alkylates are a component of av gas, and basically higher end base stock for blending fuels/gas like race fuels (wink wink), not entirely interchangeable with camp stove fuel but Aspen probably have a specific refining mix for their blend, might be oxygenated, very little info on it with no published vapourization pressures and no specific gravities from what I could see. Would need to see those figures before spending that kind of $$$.

I know one thing for sure those little brush saws sure run better with this fuel. And it has a long shelf life (10years) in metal, so all those little passages in the carb remain open.
