Only way to tell is to ride all of them. They all have their strong points and weaknesses.

Well Scotty11, I see that you joined in October 2011 and have 3 posts. Have you been lurking and accomplished any reading regarding your dilemma?

There is lots of info available and Riverjet has a valid point. If you can't ride them, then it is a crap shoot.

If I were you I wouldn't hesitate on a new(left over) 2012 Summit SP 800 Etec and I would seriously consider a 2013 Summit 800 Etec. I am a little biased but for good reason. I have a great dealer and my last 4 Doo's have been pretty spectacular. Even the 08 was great once the bugs were worked out. 5000 kms on the 2008 (sold that one two years ago), 4500 kms on the 2010 (and that is still going strong) and 1500 kms on the 2012 so far.

Did I mention my favorite dealer........Mr. R's for price, service, and great guys.

buy a ski doo heard on here they are the best and I love replacing my motor at 3000km, plus I'm pretty sure the fumes BRP oil produces attacks the brain and makes you addicted like a crack head, look at all the doo guys on here, atleast the local doo salesman admits the pro rmk is impressive, ride all three they are very different, rode all three this winter, found nothing really other than my M8's are really outdated and I have to catch up to the game, takes getting used to the newer style sleds, still think the XP is a buffalo, cat had a lot of issues early season and to me seems to be a rev in ac green, and the polaris..... well the polaris makes me drool, I'd trade both my sleds for a new RMK, flame away doo boys, I know the exhaust has gotten to you, I feel for you and welcome to the falling behind the times cat guys club as we watch the polaris get lighter, more advanced, and agile every year

Well, hopefully poo has their gearing spot on with their belt drive... because there will be NO gearing options for 2013 except for what's on the sled. Sounds kinda last minute slapped together advancement.
