Check engine light

Check engine light came on 2011 rmk 800.Code 524007 2.Fuel type selected out of range.Turned sled off and restarted and stayed off rest of the day.Did the same thing
2nd day.Check chip resistor 160 ohms.Any thoughts ??

There are 2 resistors that came with that sled. Install the other one. One for ethanol and one for non-ethanol.

Crazy, I had this code on my 2011 Pro RMK 800 last time I rode it. It kept coming up while I was riding on a mountain for about an hour, then I never saw it again. And I looked at the resistor later and it looked to be plugged in like normal.

Was riding in the mtns when the light came on.Only happened 1 time each day.I have checked all the grounds and connectors
I think its possible that the resistor is acting up.I am going to change the resistor out for the next ride.
