i have heard that some guys will change weights on the mountains when they get up top..If u are changing out the weights down at home or on the mountain does a guy have to put loc tight on the pins....Some guys say no some guys say yes...Issue is if on the mountain and wanna change them out and have loc tight on them will i beable to break them free?...If they do break free should i re-apply some loc tight after installing diff weights?..
Thanks in advance

If your just tuning your weights you probably won't need lock tight. Then when you get the weights where you want them then lock tight it.

definately no need for lock tight needed to change the polaris weights. The pin has a type of lock nut. Have also never had to change weights before on the hill. Have never had issues with running 10-62's right from the parking lot.

not worried about running the 62's in the mtns but when a guy goes for a rip around here which is 2000-2500ft the sled will be over revving so i should change the weights to the 66's,that what it calls for.So what's why i am asking if lock tight was needed incase i ever had to change them in the parking lot in the mtns..Thanks
