Having trouble keeping my chain on ,it pops off the back sprocket. Are there any suggestions?I tightened everything, new chain any help would be appreciated, willing to take it to someone that is more knowledgable,or any backyard mechanics
Well I'm not familar with that model, but some of the things you could check if the chain is the right tension???:
How are you checking the tension?
ie: our Suzuki's we have the rider sitting on the seat and there should be about an 1" of defection. Or you can lean onto the seat with your chest and reach over the side.
Aligment, is there any way the sporckets are out of alginment?
we have a honda 90 with occasional chain problems, it is usually caused by too slack of a chain, too tight of a chain, worn out sprocket or when we had the chain guard off, sticks would get stuck up in there and the chain would come off. by the sounds of it i woulkd check your sprocket tho, see if the teeth are worn out bent or missing.
