Hey, we all know that we make some pretty stupid decisions on the hill soetimes. i know i do every once and a while and usually end up paying for it with either my body or money from my pocket. So i would like to hear some of the funny and or other stupid things that some of you have done. wheather it was impressing a girl trying to look good, then consiquently ending up crashing into a tree, or whatever...
Let me start out by sharing a little story of Father Son bonding haha.
Last season dad and i went out sledding in Gorman ( a place around Golden B.C.). It was an amazing day so we stopped for some lunch. i finished my tim hortans sandwich first so i decided while dad is still eating i would go out and play in the meadow for a bit. duting this time i had bin pulling some hooks in the powder and finding jumps to hit... Well i stumbled upon a pretty good jump so i began to hit it. My dad was finally finish eating and came and joined me. he tried it a few times and then pull off about 5 feet or so past the jump to take some pretty sweet action pictures for our sledding buddies who had ditched out for the weekend. Well i lined up perfect to the jump and was pretty excited, as the jump made me shoot up into the are making it a superb shot to take... i pinned the throttle and dashed towards the jump. I launched off the jump and noticed then that my dad had not moved as far as we thought the sled would land so i'm heading straight for him in mid air and theres nothing i can do, lucky i land 2 or so feet in front of him... the bad news is that its not enough space to stop in time and i slide right into his sled cracking the body pan right in half, pieces of plastic litter the snow and he chews me out for the rest of the ride home, he blames me for going of the jump too fast, but then i argue back knowing full well that it was his fault for stopping so close to the jump. the next weekend out after guilting me into buying him a new body pan he goes out and tries a nother jump that i'm doing pretty good on and this time i stand well away from him and he pinns it off the jump and runs himself right into a tree, once again cracking the body pan in half.... haha how ironic eh? i made sure to stand well away from him so he could not blame me for this one.
