Had a super day on Saturday with great friends, tonnes of sunshine, and a surprising amount of snow on the ground!

What an awesome end to the season for Justin and I, and a fantastic way to celebrate our country's birthday! Mother Nature even provided some red snow for us in honor of the holiday :D

Dan must have forgot his sunscreen

Could this be the smallest chute ever climbed?

Not sure the km mark, but about 5km from the Boulder cabin the road got really dicy. Rode about 1.5km of mud with some little cooling patches of snow here and there. It's melting real fast on the trail. There was a lot more mud on the way down. I'd say 6' deep or so at the cabin.

one more week up boulder.. .you ride more dirt in April and may some times than up there right now.... drive to the gate in the last clear cut.... no truck or ATV access past the gate, but sleds fit by. once in the trees above the last clear cut it's 50 50 snow patches and water and mud.. in the forest above the clear cut about half a click where the road takes a hard right.. go straight into the trees,,, it was good up from there... still 3 ft in the marsh meadow... great coverage up top... got three of the airport chutes done in july... monster was scary and doable, but none wanted to end the season with a huge failure.... 90 was sick looking and still tryable, but failure was a huge possibility with the narrow out of the top... best snow pack up there I've ever seen in late June or July... my 5th yr up there after june 15... Sale still has 3 weeks of sledding... Norns has 2 weeks left... Meadow Mtn near Kaslo has 3 weeks left.. Trout Lake still has 3 weeks left... Pemberton Ice fields still has all summer sledding...

How ya come across this

Next year let's do a Canada ride Joel with Dan in mind

To be honest I entered "water truck" into the search bar and this was one of the threads that popped up. I was running out of places to find what I was looking for and thought S&M might be my lucky link. It wasn't, but this was cool. Shortly afterwards I did find an older T800 a buddy is sellin, goin to look tomorrow...so maybe the great Krazyspirit pulled some strings for me after all
