Can you run only one headlight without the need for a resistor? Want to run a vent on just one light opening .

i think i replied to your pm....but ya...no resistor here either. couple thousand miles of spring riding with a lexan hood main harness unplugged and just electrical taped. never an issue.

good luck

I heard 07 and older need the resistor. I haven't run a resistor on my 08 for 2 years with no headlight(or gauge for a while), no problems.

I have to ak this question, why would you remove a piece of equipment that is there for your safety after dark? I realize that a number of riders are looking to add more airflow, but what about after dark and you get caught in it?? Just curious.

I did it for air flow and the one headlight will be more than enough light to get me off the mountain. We are usually the first ones up the mountain and try to get the cabin before dark.
