Camping around Golden, BC

Hey,

Just wondering anyone knows of another excellent backcountry camping site on crown land around Golden BC... been to back side of Lake Enid a few times but is too crowded on May long... looking for suggestions of other places to go this year. (ie a small lake off a logging road/trail with a field or something for camping on)

pick a road and go for a drive, finding a site is the fun part :d

Lake Enid is a sh*t show on every long weekend, just like most of the easy access lakes around here.

Ceder lake just above golden is pretty cool, not very remote though

We always go to Blackwater. its on the road out to chatter creek. I thinks its around km 25. there's 3 or 4 lakes right along the road that if your into fishing its great. If your planning on going may long i wouldnt go to cedar lake unless you want to deal with a bunch of teenagers drinking all night. there is also mitten lake. it is out at parson across the river and up the logging road to silent pass.
