... thanks to our new Father / Son Polaris friends we met at Lucille on Sunday morning. We passed them on the trail on the way up, as they were stopped for overheating. When we made it to the top, I realized my tri-pod had come unstrapped from my sled on the trail up. On the way down to look for it, saw son sitting and waiting while dad went back down for more antifreeze (they tend to work better that way). As I was getting to the bottom, passed dad coming up again with my tri-pod in hand, and was able to get it back from him when we stopped (we were the only two groups on the hill at that time). A little later on, they came and played with us for a bit, and although catmando talked with him for a bit, I never did get his name, but I did say thanks on the hill.
Thanks again, and it does go to show that Cat-men and Poo-dudes can be friends (only for a short while though!!!).
