I got my last one out of the states (Spokane)......paid big for it, but it only had 17 000 orig miles and one of the top 10% left. go to Turbo Regal Web Site
.....there is a buy and sell on there......any question just PM me! I have had a few GN but was thinking about building a 87 Monte Carlo SS in white with a full GN drivetrain and interior.......plus big power.....900-1000 hp twin turbo! it takes nothing to make a 10 second daily driver out of a 87 GN.

was in the loop, but not so much anymore........need to get back into it lol.

the dyno went up in smoke.......I did see chris do a 1400 plus HP dyno run that still went up in smoke.......think he was good for 16-1700 hp to the rear wheels if he could get it to bite! it is not uncommon to have a 1000 HP GN and drive it to work every day........my 750 HP GN got around 30 mpg and I drove it everyday.......gas mileage went down big time when boost went up lol.......my first GN was a total sleeper.....a friend built a 600 HP all wheel drive subaru WRX and with my 750 HP rear wheel drive we had the exact 0-60 time........the only difference was I had my front wheels come off the ground for 40 feet lol. GN are not the type of car that looks fast, but I guess that is why they only come in BAD ASS BLACK! lol my basicaly stock GN with some slight mods would eat vippers and vettes in the 1/4 mile and it just had a little V-6 lol......Vette guys hate them because the vette was spost to be the flag ship of GM but in 87 buick killed the vette!

That is alot of the reason that G.M. stopped making them ,,so i have heard,.,,they were years ahead of their time ,,,esp the GNX...Who would ever think that a little 231 cu in motor would smoke a small block v8...One day i will have another one..but in the mean time i will have to drool...

they quit making the GN because they lost the rear wheel drive Buick platformin 88. in 89 they put that drive train into the trans-am for a limited ed....I think they should have used the monte SS in 88 but Buick and Chevy where fighting in the R&D section because of the Vette thing!

the funny story was the vette guys sent 3 vetts to calaway to get twin turboed (out of factory) so they could say they were the king of GM....the fastest........ so Buick built the GNX in factory that spanked the twin turbo V-8 Vette.....oh did I say the GNX was a single turbo V-6 still LOL

yes the GN was light years ahead of Corvette in 87.......it took like 6-7 years for corvette to use sequential fuel injection like the one Buick built for the GN.........light years a head of Corvette!
