Brake Controllers... what are you running?

Was looking to install a brake controller on my 2007 chevy 1500 new style. Can anyone recommend some good ones. Was looking for a plug and play setup if avalible as well can mount any which way.

I have 3 of the pigtails you need to hook it up under the dash .. If you want one it's yours for nothing

X2 on the prodigy, plug and play. Has simple diagnostic features too that haves saved my bacon a few times.

with the pigtails it is literally plug and play. On my first truck paid a hundred buck to have a hitch shop put one in. I know far more now!

Prodigy for sure. Simple to use and tells when your trailer brakes not gonna work.

Prodigy P3 $160 shipped from the states last year, came with an OEM harness for the truck.

Not sure on prices now.

really that would be awasome. Guy at CST truck accessories told me today that my truck would have to be hard wired as GM dropped the plug n play setup. Would these pigtails still work with a pordigy unit?? seems like the choice to have.

If you have a tow package the wiring will be taped up in a bundle near where the steering column goes through the fire wall. Needs 2 metric nut and connect to the stud terminals on the fuse box in the eng compt. Wiring for the controller will be taped up under the dash

Hmm. Well they're for a new style gm. But he probably knows more about them than me. But I do have 3 in my garage
They ain't going anywhere soon so no biggie if you want them or not
