So i am just about to turn 3000mi on my summit, 15-1800 of those are with the big bore on it. When should a person do a bottom end rebuild?

can a person pull the engine out with those upper support bars and plastics on?

It can be pulled with all the plastics on(its easier IMO with them off) just take off the secondary and Y pipe than you can get at the carb boots with the carbs and the pipe out of the way you can pull the mounts and get the 2 oil lines - the oil pump cable - the pulse line from under the carbs by moving the motor. The electrical I unplugged the two connectors from the can side but there is still two wires I couldn't find a easy disconnect so I cut them and put my own plug there.(maybe someone else has a better fix for this?) All that is left is a plug on the top(heat sensor?) and cooling lines and plug wires.

I've had mine out twice this year  stupid rocks :p
