I recently had a nitrous kit installed on my 09 Summit XP. Other wise all I have done is an SLP can. I figured I would notice a huge difference. Many people told me once I hit the little red button...wham...instant power. Well after I tried it out a couple times just through a field behind the house....I don't really notice much at all. I never held the NOS on for too long, probably 5 seconds. Is this not long enough to notice a difference or what?? I believe it's set for for an extra 20 hp?? What's your thoughts for those who have nitrous on their sleds. Should I have just done the clutching, and gears??

yah..

do you have the adjustable regulator? did the sled run ok on the botton? did the rpm increase?

unfortunately you will not notice much of a differance until you have it in the mountains and you can get some load on the track.

i have it on 5 sleds and in a drag race you can use it at the beggining to get a good holeshot but after that it is not much good.

climbing however is a differant story. makes the sled unreal fast. turns a normal machine into a not so normal machine haha.

unless you clutch your machine for drag racing you will not notice it much on a pull across a field.

oh yah and what kit? please tell me its a boondocker or else :(

Ya Maxwell, you bet it's boondocker. I kind of figured maybe I wouldn't notice until getting it into the hills. That's relieving, thanks again dude.
