February is shaping up to having a nice snowfall. This just issued by enviroment Canada

An intense low pressure system over the north coast will move across northern sections of the central interior late this afternoon. South to southwest winds will increase to 60 gusting 90 km/h this afternoon in the Chilcotin and Fraser Canyon regions. In the Chilcotin region the winds will be strongest over the southwest section. In the Bulkley Valley region westerly winds of 60 km/h gusting to 90 will develop late this afternoon in the wake of the low. Winds will abate tonight.

Additional snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 centimetres are expected through today for areas just north of the low's track. Snow will taper to flurries tonight.

The low is also bringing heavy snow to the Columbia mountains. Revelstoke and Blue River have already reported 10 cm of new snow from this storm and another 15 to 25 cm can be expected by Wednesday morning.

So everyone coming this weekend is going to enjoy some fresh powder

Haha you guys are nuts. Your room wont be ready at that time though as the suite is booked out the night before. I'll hang on to you r stuff for you though.

is the suite booked on thursday night? (7th)
i have it booked for friday and saturday and was just curious to see if it would be empty for us to unload our gear/grab an hour or two nap first thing friday morning before we ride. if not, no problem. just trying to make a plan

Read the post above yours. Yes it is booked but you could always curl up on the couch in the lobby for a nap

Glad to see things are looking good this month. Will be making my first trip to the mountains on Feb 22, and it can't get here soon enough.

Just had some guys come down off the hill and there is 4 feet of fresh powder
up there

The town still has rooms for this weekend if anyone needs a quick fix of the powder.
