Blown up etec

I have a 2011 etec with 1900km that has no compression on the pull cord side haven't got it apart yet to find what happened just wondering if anybody else has had any issues yet?

Should be warrantied. All execs should get free pistons at 2000km. Talk to your desler

dont take it apart there goes your warranty.

[probly lost a locator pin and in turn took out the ring.

nope they have been pretty solid motors so far only heard of a few cases. sorry to hear about yours. on the positive side you will get a new engine!

ask jumping jack from here... they did the top end recall and 400 km after it lost the bottom end...

i realy think the bottom ends of the etechs are going to be like the 07 800rs were [ just not as soon ] ...

cause there is no gas-oil mix to cool the bearings-crank ... only a small amount of oil ....

i bought my 2010 cause of that ....
