BMP Powder Lite silencer installed on 2015 Summit T3 163. Silencer gets very hot and melts grey rubber bumper between silencer bracket and chaincase. No silencer sensor adaptor (to raise temp sensor) installed as per BMP and reflash of ECM for fouling spark plugs completed. I am looking for suggestions or ideas to prevent this from continued reoccurrence.

Pictures would help. I used foil heat tape on my T3 and made a bracket to prevent the heat from melting plastics. Maybe look at those pictures in a thread about melting plastics behind the can.
