I'm fairly sure even 28's are too big, at least for the rear. I put 1 inch spacers on when I bought the tires so I haven't tried without the spacers, but I'd bet that they would hit without.... Maybe someone can speak from experience and prove me wrong? It may also depend on the tire you go with (I went XTR's)

I have asked for some nice folks I met out here in B.C. , looks like if I tell them 27" , it would be very safe?

I run 30 silverbacks on my renegade with ss212 rims and have no rubbing at all. I know some guys are putting pipe lifts in the front to make sure they don't rub in the front but I have had not problems with mine stock

Im running 28" Mud Bitches, but I have a 2" lift, the lift is inexpensive and easy to install , there within 1/2" from the foot wells. I have a set of 28 XTR's and I believe it was close without the lift but did not hit. Had to add 1" spacers on the front with those 28" though. Not sure how you can get 30" silverbacks on there though, I looked at them and I was told to stick with 28". Ran into a member at the Medicine Lake Rally, He had 30" Silverbacks on his but had to cut and modify a bit.
