Ill take 2 this spring in bc and 2 this fall in Alberta I hope

if everyone thought like you maybe we could have a higher rate of success... my buddy is with fish and wildlife and BC moose hunters have an annual success rate of 10 to 12 percent! Thats a lot of hunter going home skunked... i remember all the old timers in the day use to hunt black bears... now except for guys that throw sticks no one else seems to want to tag one! DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE GRIZZLY BEAR CLOSURES... i will loose my mind

ya our success rates for moose have dropped over the last 10 yrs. I did get my bull last fall and 3 wolves on t
he way out from the cabin to the highway. This is in Alberta I should add. With our trapeline we are allowed 6 bears on it and last fall I did a week of baiting with beaver and still didn't get one bear on my trail cam on a successful bear baiting location. Mind you this is fall and it's damn hard to get a bear to hit a bait in the fall. But who can pass up a stinky bear??
I aLso did not get drawn for spring grizz this yr.

I will also add if you are an animal activast tree huggin queer don't bother replying to this thread.

Here is a pic of our kill sheet in the cabins journal
