i was going to try my new quad 2008 big bear 400 fan cooled in the mountains this weekend. i bought a dynojet jetting kit to bring just incase it didnt run very well. i ran it both days and it worked just fine stock going from 2000-8000ft. obviously i lost a little top end but no big deal. so iwas going to take the jet kit back but before i do i was wondering if they realy make a differance. i use my quad mainly down here at 2000ft or so and was wondering if just installing the kit would increase my performance or if its just so it runs a little better at altitude

thanks!

If you have the OEM jetting then it is jetted for sea level. So, you can use the jet kit to jet the machine for the 2000' feet you usually run at. You will not feel any extra power but fuel consimption will improve. If the kit comes with a new spring you should get slightly better throttle response. Personally, if you are not using the kit to support exhuast and intake mods I would take it back.

If you are going to use the machine for snow plowing at -20 then definetly keep the OEM jetting.
