Friend looking to buy one. He has NO quad or other such riding experience. He was going to get a quad and double his wife around, but I am trying to get him to consider a side by side as it will be safer than doubling on a quad.

Which one is the best do you think? Thinking fairly new.

That all depends on what he wants if to do. For pure sport, I would say the RZR, for utility and reliability the Rhino. For a mix of both the Commander or Terex. All have their strong and weak points.

I think a mix of both would be good. Who makes the Commander and Terrx?

CanAm makes the commander and Kawasaki makes the Terex. Of those 2 I would pick the commander but that's just me. I still wouldn't trade my Rhino for any of the others, but it's fairly modified.

if he has no experience I would go with the Rhino. Probably the best combination of simplicity and durability.

We had a arctic cat prowler 1000. Biggest piece ever, had it for a year and everytime after we rode it we would have take it in to get fixed. It was gone all summer getting fixed. Now we just got a 1000 commander x and it is amazing. The suspension is great and the power is unreal. Everything about it is great, so i would highly recommend the commannder.
