Best Place to Stay

Looking at coming out to Fernie sledding. Any suggestions on where to stay. Just two of us coming out ? How far is town from staging areas haven't rode fernie before. Thanks in advance.

I would recommend the Park Place Lodge (250-423-6871) and ask for the snowmobile rate. Self contained with small pub, beer/wine store, great restaurant, pool and hot tub. Great parking also. It may seem expensive but you get what you pay for. There is also a Super8 for $110+/night and a Best Western for $140+/night. Staging area is only maybe 5 kms from the hotel. park place lodge all the way, great parking, big plus bar is attached, hot tub and beer store, no need to leave once you come in great place
