Looking to get my springs PC'd just wondering what places are good around edmonton.
Next time I’m using Impact. On my last project I used GC Custom Metals. They’re set up more as an industrial coater and not the best choice for custom work. Their mission statement "We're proud of our work... you will be too" isn't entirely accurate. It's more like " Yah, well coat it... but don't complain about that big run in the paint". The did fix it, but only after chewing me out for being too picky.
Yea I though I was being to picky to when I got my road armor bumper and it had runs in it......Figured it shouldn't be like that.
Is it just me though, or does powdercoating stand up like ch!t? I swear a lot of parts I buy that are suppose to be, it flakes, and peels as bad as rattle can. Or after the first winter with salt it's all gone. Or maybe it's just crappy quality stuff?
i think its all the prep work. i have some trailing arms done that didnt even last a season. but then i had some truck rims done that have been 2 years through 2 hard winters and not even a nick
