Hey guys just wondering what everyone is using for belts on their sleds. I've been looking at the Dayco XTX , the Dayco HPX , Carlisle XS or the Carlisle Pro. Anyone used any of these? Is there another brand is should be looking at?

I plan on putting it on 2008 RMK700

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks.

At the end of the day your better of spending the money and using the polaris 115 belt. They are tough and mine is just starting to show cord wear after 3 seasons in my D800,I replaced it and its now my spare

polaris belts are the only way to go theres the $90belt, the $120 belt and the $190 belt.

Nope buy the 190 dollar one and forget about belt failures.

The 115 refers to the last three digits on the belt code, the two most popular are the 115 and the 080 belts, 080 being a softer compound but seem to wear more in the 800 setups.

I beg to differ gentlemen. My $200 Polaris belt lasted one ride in December plus the month of January. At a belt per month pace I'd have to quit sleddin. I bought an XTX for $100. Once I adjusted the squeel out of it, it pulled as hard or harder than the stock belt, and if it fails within a year of the purchase date they send me a new one. Does anyone see a flaw in my logic (yes, I break my belts in and clean my clutches reg) I'll let you know next month.
