Belt issues

Havin issues with belts on a '06 650 Vtwin, have brought it to like 4 diff places around Edmonton, evrytime i go out ridin ( yes i know about break in period ) i keep havin problems with belt slipin or stretchin or squeelin, but noone can seem to fix it properly...

Any one have any ideas, or what i should do!!

When you change out the belt take a scotch brite pad and scuff up the clutch good get all the shine off of it.....go back and forth accross the face of the clutch not circular with belt rotation

May be a dum question but is it the right belt? How are your clutches? Where does the belt sit in the secondary clutch..slightly above or below? Sometimes the simplest things are over looked.

well i want a new quad, but the old lady kiboshed that, an i guess you would expect more from the shop ( Arctic Cat shops ), not sure if they cleaned off the clutches or not,

Im not much off a clutch expert on this thing, though i should be ive burnt enough belts, just got a new one put on in Drayton, so ill c how it goes
