Beacon Basin STOLEN

Hey guys,
Aaron here from the Golden Snowmobile Club. Last spring beacons were stolen from the Beacon Basin at Quartz Creek, Golden BC. It is very important to spread the word because the beacons stolen are not REAL functioning beacons. They require an external power source and do not have a search function!!! SO if you or someone you know buy one online or by other means they will not work!! Please help us spread the word!
Our basin has been sent back to BCA and is getting an overhaul right now so don't stress it will be up and running again this year for the third season!! This basin gets rave reviews and is a very important learning tool for the public to use. Please do not take advantage of the clubs donation of this basin!!

Thats really too bad aaron. Luckily our unit was untouched last year (except by the porkupines.......grrr)

Chit like this makes you wonder some times....... Keep your chin up. Golden led the way on the basin in snowmobile areas, thanks to you guys.

Aaron, (GSR/Hangfire) Golden Snowmobile Club- have a BCA Beacon Basin set up by the cabin at Quartz Cr. Its a great training/practice aid for transceiver use. Some ski hills also have simular set ups.
