Hey, I've got a 2012 Summit SP with a tweaked set of handle bars. I was thinking of going to the XM X-model tapered bars, or possibly a set of Pro Tapers. At the same time I wanted to relocate the switches from the bulky bar unit to the console, like the XM's. Has anyone done this or have any suggestions, and/or pictures? Thanks for the input.

I mounted my switch to the bottom outside of my riser block.

With a tube mount.

Outa the way , can't hit the switches with knees like before. Only draw back its hard to switch warmers on the fly.

A tube mount, eh? Did you fab it up yourself and just bolt it on? Did you use the stock riser or an aftermarket?
I would be curious to see it if you have any pics. Thanks.

It's the stock squared riser.

Bolt from the inside of the riser into bracket- tube.

But it could be bolt to tube also

I removed everything except the kill from the bars and mounted everything with custom switches on the console but it took alot of custom wiring.

I like that set up, but I don't have a lot of room to play with as the Boost It box is already on my riser. I think I will probably end up doing the RSI switch relocate to the console, or see if there is a way to mount the factory block to the console. Thank you for all the good ideas.
