Check out Ole's Machine.com - The Riser Store I went through 4 different risers since I had my sled and this is the best by far. Had a 2" block then 2" longer post with a 2" block then a 2" longer post with a 4" block and now I have a 2" longer post with a oles 6" tapered block by far the best. I have a 2001 rmk and I am 6'4" tall and I could still use another inch but its good enough. Not sure if the bolt pattern is the same on your 99 ski-doo but I have a 4" riser block off of my polaris! I do have a longer brake line, throttle extention and extented the wiring but only when I went to the 4" riser with the 2" longer post.

Later!!!

Yes you'll need throttle, brake and might have to lengthen some wires. When you get a riser make sure it can pivot ahead so you can stay up at the front of your running boards. I have a 8" riser on my 99 Summit.

When you extended wires, did you replace the whole wire, or did you extend onto it somehow (sorry not the brightest when it comes to electrical...)

When I put my riser on my last sled, I extended the wires using solder and heat shrink

for the topic, the best way might be to get a throttle cable from a 03 summit, similiar but longer, or even a 04 rev should fit. Powermad has cable extenders for throttle cables but playing with your throttle cable could cost you a wreck. Powermadd has brake lines to extend for around $70. then you can use blocks to rise it up or if you want to spend money then get a t top welded on and install a larger block to rotate it forward a bit as well which will make it more comfortable.
I'm sure some of the local mod shops in your area should have some of these parts or can bring them in.

I would recommend adding length to the wire by soldiering and heat shrinking
over top for protection. Make sure you leave enough length when you turn the handle bars so the wire do not pull out.hope this helps!
oh ya thanks for double checking my spelling!:d:d

LOL, sorry just had to laugh, after seeing some of your immature posts, towards others;)

At no point did I say I was an expert in the wiring department. I just wasn't sure if it would be a good plan to extend because of the constant moving of the wires and fear of losing good contact.

When I did the big riser I also changed bars so I took the headlight dimmer and mounted it on the pivot bar and then with a little dremmel work I used epoxy and attached the kill switch to it so the only wires to lengthen were the hand warmers and brake light switch.
