Backcountry Avalanche Workshop in Elkford tomorrow night!

Avalanche Canada is presenting a Backcountry Avalanche Workshop that is sponsored by TECK. It's happening tomorrow (Wed. Feb 18th) from 7pm till 9pm at the Boivin Appartments B (431 Boivin Rd.) in Elkford. Its FREE and there's going to be some prizes too! A South Rockies avalanche field team member will presenting what's new at Avalanche Canada this year and also go over a case study about a near miss in which 4 people were buried in a very large avalanche a couple years ago in the Terrace area.
