What goes around comes around. Dont be surprised if Ivan's house burns down.
Yep me and Ivan would go for a drive and only one of us would be coming back if he pulled that $hit on me. I dont take kindly to that crap and I know a lot of areas with very healthy grizzly populations lol

Anybody know whose trucks these are staying at a house in Sicamous? Old hag that lives across street put it up on facebook complaining about Albertans coming sledding. Vigilante's are out and some guy named Ivan Munro is promoting the trucks burning to the ground. Just an FYI, watch your stuff.
Which facebook page?

I work in construction and drive around Edmonton all day every day. I bet you I diddnt stop at five traffic lights today that diddnt have a vehicle with out of province plates. Total hypocrites BC people are. The whole ****ing country works in or and prospers off Alberta. If we follow the fake virus rules wear our masks and have respect play the game we should all be able to Snowmobile and have a great season

Like it or not, violence is coming.. It’s only a matter of time. People who just want to live their lives and be left alone have just about had enough. I know if I followed the bullchit rules, kept my distance, played the game and still had my stuff vandalized, I’d be pissed. Just because some old scrote thinks red plates are the reason the sky is falling. Ridiculous.

Ya and there used to be 5 more communities within 60 km of here as well that were bigger than us, and now they are all but gone, thats what happens to small communities unless they have tourism or industry. They used to have lots of towns due to the need as travel wasnt as easy in the day, now they arent needed unless they have something other places dont, get your clouded covid head out of the clouds and stop trying to argue your liberal POV

Because I don't agree with people transferring illness from town to town I'm a liberal? Your not very clear on your entitled POV. You have a vacation home in a community so the locals should roll out the red carpet? Hmmmm and folks wonder why "Albertans" get painted with a broad brush.

I would make a bet if asked the locals could care less about ignorant dollars.

Looks a bit hot in this thread, please refrain from calling peeps out, lets keep it civil. We just all want to be able to enjoy the backcountry and have to respect local heath authorities laws or recommendations. Everyone respects these we are able to use the back country. If we don't follow the rules or recommendations then we may find areas closing. One closes the ripple affect will happen and this will be an end to the season for all.

I wouldn't necessarily call you a liberal, but I'm wondering if there's anytime pre-2020 where you sat around and wondered how many people you've off-ed with a virus you may or may not have passed?

Haven't?

Me neither.

Take that chit kinda personal but after 30 yrs of enjoying the backcountry an the solid group that most sledder tend to be leaves me feeling a lil defeated. That said have 2 invites from locals to come ride so the reality is the majority of the folks out there are good if you simply use respect. I wear a mask to show respect for other people’s concerns not mine. I socially distance 2m for other people to show them I respect their position on the situation. Sad we have a gaslighting POS U.N pandering PM.

Ron,

If someone has the marbles to resort to name calling in a thread should the respondent not have the ability to reply?

Thread after thread after thread. If someone disagrees with someone that automatically makes them a liberal, or a socialist or whatever. Hows this food for thought, I have for many years promoted the smithers area for sledding and outdoor activities and once all this nonsense is over I will again but in the time being we can do without the entitled covid ridden azz chats that think all these small towns owe them something because they have money to spend.

Look at the numbers and how Alberta is exploding no frigging wonder small communities aren't wanting outsiders. Let whatever is taking place work itself out, as it will and then go back to being ignorant a-holes

Dude you got a wake up. The reason it appears the numbers are exploding in major centres is it’s easier to lie about the numbers. Pretty hard to say revelstoke had 2000 cases when it doesn’t have enough people. But it’s pretty easy to say Edmonton has 2000 cases when it has 1 million people. Simple political bull**** math

Another interesting fact I heard today is since March over 5 million businessmen and women have flown into Canada from all over the world with zero quarantine. So people are still flying in and out of R country yet you guys are scared and want to lock down tiny little towns. Trust me if Covid is as deadly as liberalism it will spread everywhere. Regardless of whether you’re riding an arctic cat from Alberta or a skidoo from BC

All this Covid stuff can drive all of us nuts. The virus is real, we know that. The media, social media, and some politicians have blown this right up further than it should be. The effects the virus are the least we have to worry about as 99.5 % of the people get over it just fine and most don't have after affects that we know of. The mental heath of most people is affected just as bad or worse than this virus. People are stressed, many are loosing there jobs, companies, livelihood. I see people that are decent folks on this site and other sites calling each other out when it has not been in there character. There are some that wont follow the rules set in place, well we all need to respect and follow those no matter what we personally think or we wont be going anywhere for backcountry recreation.

I have been doing day trips or if going to BC or if staying overnight avoiding going anywhere, bring own food or use drive thru. Packing fuel and what ever is needed for the trip. Go directly to staging area and having a great day. I'm not in anyone's way or space, well I hope.

Any name calling posts from this point forward will be moderated. Thanks.

One simple question. If this is one big hoax and "they" are lying about the numbers. Who benefits? What is the end game? Who are "they"?
