This scale is for entertainment purposes only and in no way can adequately predict whether the unusual or usual conditions you are in will cause an avalanche to occur as many factors beyond just the slope angle contribute to the probability of an avalanche. Always ski with a certified and official ski guide, carry the recommended snow avalanche equipment, and perform snow pack checks by a certified personnel.

mmhmmmm im curious to how acurate it actually is degree wise.ill check it with my slope indicator. but yes its still your respondsibility to assess the risk. i wouldnt be trusting my iphone for that haha
