There are a couple choices within 1 hour or so of Edmonton. There is the Alberta Beach Snowmobile club, Tricounty Sled club in Leduc/Strathcona county. Pembina Driftbusters in Westlock and Northern Lights club in Barrhead. All have maps online and all have a grooming program. There is probalbly still a couple more that I missed But our family has ridden on all except Tricounty's trails. Lots to explore . Hope this helps.

We are usually at ministik (tri county club) every saturday we can go. Be happy to show someone the area.
Ive been in your shoes. Getting ready to go into a new area and have someone offer to show us around. Met some folks who are some of our closest friends now that way.

Whitecourt has something like 450km of groomed trails around the area and it's easy to do multiday day trips to swan hills and fox creek to open up even more areas via the golden triangle trail system if that's your thing. The maps are available to download and print off the whitecourt website. Whitecourt Trailblazers Whitecout is about 1-1/2 to 2 hrs from Edmonton depending on what part of the city you are coming from.
