I worked with an 8x8 argo for 2 years and they really can go A LOT of places!! I don't know what the drive system is on the one u are looking at but I operated a chain and sprocket system and man are they ever a lot of maintenance. At least once a day I was changing chain tighteners and first thing grease all the chains. And after about 50 hours(depending on the amount of water u go through) u gotta do an all over grease job . Also they are prone to breaking axles but that's also with 500 lbs of gear being lugged around! But after i put on the beefed up ones it was great!

All and all it was a fun machine goes through a hella lotta terrain and with regular upkeep it'll last a long time..... But it better for $25000 on the low end.......

But just another thing with the chain system.....a guppy can figure out how to fix it where as the hydro static takes a bit more skill I would think. I just watched the vid and the step they added was a must i had alot of bruised knees especially when u add tracks!! and those seats look pretty awesome!!

Hey, I ran the top of the line argo for 2weeks after I put an 06 avenger in the shop. Comparing the 2 the 750 was awesome. The efi made starting and rough terrain so much better. I never had a problem with the brakes dragging like they did on the avenger. After operating the 2 for over a year there wasn't too much terrain it couldn't handle.

You bet $30000 after u add; rubber tracks, R.O.Ps, windshield, soft canvas cover, bilge pump, and a WARN ur lookin at that much.....

As for top speed I would guesstimate 40-50 kms but I never had the pleasure of trying that out.... The only time we had her out of the bush was for major overhauls and then straight back to work.

In my work I also had the pleasure of guinea pigging a few other machines I will post some vids later of some of the funner ones!!
