I was looking at this tunnel bag today. Does anyone know how good the cam lock system is? Thanks.

Can't comment on how well it works but if you're interested in buying I have an unused one I bought last year and didn't install because I mounted my jerry can about 3/4" too far back and did't want to re-drill haha

If your talking about the one I’m thinking of.. it works good, I find the cam part mounted on the tunnel liked to turn with the part in the bag when trying to install or remove it though. But I don’t remove mine ever.

Thanks. What do you mean you find the cams to turn with the stuff in the bag?

the little barrel pieces that are bolted to your tunnel spin then you try to turn the inner bag locking mechanism onto them

So I went with the Arctic Cat bad. Installed it and the bolts stripped trying to get it tight enough to stop the studs from turning when installing the cam lock. It came with aluminum bolts. So I threw them out and went to Edmonton nut and bolt and got steel bolts. Then I could get them tight enough to stop turning.

Did you go with Stainless Steel at least? Carbon will just rust.
