Hello all, i have an arctic cat 650 H1, and the rotors keep on getting bent. I have put 2 sets of pads / rotors in the pig and they keep on bending. Every time it seems like a rock gets caught between the rotor and the rim. The quad has only 300km on it!!!! on the last ride one of the front rotors is bent again and i cannot get the brakes to work at all. Has anybody had this issue, or anybody know of a solution?

i have seen this on the rear rotor of a 700 cat had to do our best trailside repair to get the guy out of the bush....removed both calipers and jammed some sticks inbetween the pads and tie the calipers out of the way....not much fun (especially for the owner of the quad) lookid pricey$$$wrecked rotor, rim and tire rotor was paper thin just looks too flimsy for me

yeah I seen it before....some rotors are actually thin and not beefy or hardened enough to take the pounding......... remember all manufacturers farm out the parts of there machines.....and some of those parts might not be exactly to spec...seeing as only a portion of all parts are checked for quality control....... call it human nature or laziness of the parts manufacturers but maby a few got away from there without being heat treated...... or case hardened....... maby thats why there so flimsy.........take it to the dealer and if it is an oem part then make them send it back.

Thanks, good input guys. Maybe I will purchase some aftermarket rotors. I think they are only about $15 more, wich may be a huge improvement on the Q.C. and durability. I wonder if one of the rotors is bent, will all of the brakes not work. This machine has only the one brake lever for front and rear.
