Looking for your opinion on dealers around East Central Alberta. Looking at a 2010 M8 and have each of these as options, as I have heard horror stories of city dealers. Lac La Biche, Bonnyville, St. Paul, Vegreville, Wainwright and Camrose. I don't want to hear from dealer reps on this thread. Just the public. Thanks.

I should also add that one of my main concerns is service after the sale. I basically had a deal set up with Camrose, but was concerned that because they are a farm dealership, they may not have great service?

T&T is all about service. His business is based on it.

if they couldn't service it then they wouldn't sell it and they still wouldn't be in service...Plus when you buy a new sled you don't have to take it back to them, take to whom ever you want

I've only been dealt with 3 of the dealers that you named, and hands down I would go with T&T again in Bonnyville. He's a sponsor for the website here, he will probably tune in here anytime...:d

ok u goated me into a response.... well 1st thanks for ur vote of confidence, we just try to do our best, we do have to make some, money at it, and i beleive we go the extra mile for the customers, to me thats what its about, reputation speaks for itself, you can never please everyone, but we try...

i always look hard for my info on something, im buying, i dont label without all the info.... so good luck , i always tell everyone who isnt happy with our service to let us know, and have no problem with anyone saying it here or anywhere as long as they give us a chance to express our side, i beleive that is fair. i like fair, i like honest... i dont play games... and im not perfect, i think the fact that we all follow these rules makes my shop a good shop...let my customers be my calling card....or call us for your self... happy shopping..

Yeah, so of course your gonna hear both good and bad things from every dealer. But from my experience the dealer here in veg is great. Doesnt try to sell you stuff you dont need, lets you know not only the pro's, but the cons to of everything you buy. I have had good experiences with him.

I dealt with Don's speed parts in Wainwright and have no problems so far and he was freindly and very helpful with any questions I had. They give you that small town welcome and feeling when dealing with them. Highly reccomend if your buying a Cat.

I agree with Snowseeker,Don's treated me awesome.Bought my sled over the phone and a couple of weeks later delivered it to my garage.Any issues I had,no matter how small, they always did their best to help me out.So Don's in Wainright would be my pick. But from the look on the posts on here,I may have to make a trip to Bonneville to take a look at T & T...Just my two cents.

Another happy customer from Don's here. Sounds like T&T is another great dealer; I'm always most impressed by after sale service more than the lowest price. I'll give both places a call when I start looking for my next Cat.

Always had excellent service from Don's Speed Parts. He even let me use his backup sled for a day when mine had some issues. This was before i was a customer.

Good buddy of mine, bought a sled from Dons. They said everything was tip top and ready to ride, took it for a rip, and even loaded it for him. Thats where the good times stopped in this situation. Took her to the dealer here to get a Veriflow put on and to do a once over on the sled. There was not a drop of oil in the mahine, the sprokets nt the chain case had two teeth on them, the ignition had to be re wired and a whole lot of other stuff was either broke, or needed attenion. But keep in mind this is just one guys experience, lot of guys had great service from him. Could have just been a one time thing

I had issues with the guys in the new Edson dealer treating me like a brain dead child with no mechanical knowledge (even though I've been a ticketed heavy duty mech. for more than a few years) so I talked to Don at Don's Speed Shop when I started looking for a second sled. He was really pleasant through everything and didn't worry at all that I live out by Jasper and had to fax everything through. He brought the sled all the way out to McBride on the August long weekend and I signed off on the sled out there. I've talked to a lot of good guys in other dealerships; Terry at T&T and the guys at Echo were both awesome but I couldn't ask for more with the work Don put into accommodating everything to make our deal go through. I won't be able to offer anything on the service side of the concerns but I've been through this new sled from top to bottom and everything looks great mechanically.
